# SHU Safe vs Aquarion

The clearest difference is review sentiment: SHU Safe at 100% against Aquarion's 56%. SHU Safe also leads on device support (4 vs 2). Aquarion's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (914 vs 6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Aquarion holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Aquarion has 914 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of SHU Safe's written reviews are positive against 56% of Aquarion's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SHU Safe ships an update every 5 months, Aquarion every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
