# Pretty Patches vs Quiltful

The clearest difference is rating: Pretty Patches at 5.0 against Quiltful's 4.4. Pretty Patches also leads on iOS requirement (7.0 vs 15.6). Quiltful's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 13 months) and ratings volume (36 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pretty Patches sells 14 one-off in-app purchases and Quiltful sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pretty Patches holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Quiltful has 36 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Pretty Patches ships an update every 13 months, Quiltful monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
