# Gregorys Coffee vs Datli Crepe and Waffle

The clearest difference is monetization model: Datli Crepe and Waffle at free against Gregorys Coffee's free with in-app purchases. Datli Crepe and Waffle also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). Gregorys Coffee's advantage is ratings volume (16K vs 5) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Datli Crepe and Waffle holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Gregorys Coffee has 16K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Gregorys Coffee ships an update fortnightly, Datli Crepe and Waffle every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
