# The Audio Converter vs M4Bindr

The Audio Converter and M4Bindr both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of M4Bindr's written reviews are positive against 35% of The Audio Converter's. M4Bindr also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 months) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). The Audio Converter's advantage is ratings volume (14K vs 8). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Audio Converter sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and M4Bindr sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

M4Bindr holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Audio Converter has 14K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 35% of The Audio Converter's written reviews are positive against 100% of M4Bindr's.

The Audio Converter ships an update every 2 months, M4Bindr every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
