# HPS Library vs Lash Affair

The clearest difference is ads: HPS Library at none against Lash Affair's shown. HPS Library also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.1). Lash Affair's advantage is ratings volume (83 vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 6 months). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for HPS Library against 4.9 for Lash Affair. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lash Affair has 83 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

HPS Library ships an update every 6 months, Lash Affair every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
