# Capriotti's vs Driftwood Cafe

The clearest difference is update cadence: Driftwood Cafe at every 2 weeks against Capriotti's's every 5 months. Driftwood Cafe also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Capriotti's's advantage is ratings volume (3.9K vs 1) and chart position (#199 vs unranked). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Driftwood Cafe holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Capriotti's has 3.9K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
