# Capriotti's vs Daily Veg

The clearest difference is rating: Capriotti's at 4.7 against Daily Veg's 3.7. Capriotti's also leads on ratings volume (3.8K vs 3). Daily Veg's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 months) and review sentiment (50% vs 39%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Capriotti's holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Capriotti's has 3.8K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 39% of Capriotti's's written reviews are positive against 50% of Daily Veg's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Capriotti's ships an update every 5 months, Daily Veg fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
