# MobileTek Core vs WorkWave Route Manager

The clearest difference is monetization model: MobileTek Core at free against WorkWave Route Manager's subscription. MobileTek Core also leads on review sentiment (49% vs 32%) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). WorkWave Route Manager's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (1.2K vs 210). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

WorkWave Route Manager holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WorkWave Route Manager has 1.2K ratings behind it against 210, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 49% of MobileTek Core's written reviews are positive against 32% of WorkWave Route Manager's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MobileTek Core ships an update every 3 weeks, WorkWave Route Manager every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
