# MyChap vs Navigators Discipleship

The clearest difference is review sentiment: MyChap at 67% against Navigators Discipleship's 33%. Navigators Discipleship's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 4.1) and update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Navigators Discipleship holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 14 and 40 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of MyChap's written reviews are positive against 33% of Navigators Discipleship's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MyChap ships an update every 2 months, Navigators Discipleship monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
