# Framebridge vs FrameJoy

Framebridge and FrameJoy both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of FrameJoy's written reviews are positive against 50% of Framebridge's. FrameJoy also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). Framebridge's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (4.5K vs 9). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FrameJoy holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Framebridge has 4.5K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 50% of Framebridge's written reviews are positive against 100% of FrameJoy's.
