# LastQuake vs HRTMeteo

The clearest difference is review sentiment: LastQuake at 90% against HRTMeteo's 40%. LastQuake also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (2.2K vs 1). HRTMeteo's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

HRTMeteo holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LastQuake has 2.2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 90% of LastQuake's written reviews are positive against 40% of HRTMeteo's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

LastQuake ships an update every 3 months, HRTMeteo every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
