# LastQuake vs Greece Earthquakes

The clearest difference is review sentiment: LastQuake at 90% against Greece Earthquakes's 60%. LastQuake also leads on update cadence (every 3 months vs every 19 months) and ratings volume (2.2K vs 2). Greece Earthquakes's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (10.3 vs 13.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Greece Earthquakes holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LastQuake has 2.2K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 90% of LastQuake's written reviews are positive against 60% of Greece Earthquakes's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

LastQuake ships an update every 3 months, Greece Earthquakes every 19 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
