# Mus'haf | المصحف للآيباد vs Shia Library

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Mus'haf | المصحف للآيباد at 4.4K against Shia Library's 55. Mus'haf | المصحف للآيباد also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 26.2). Shia Library's advantage is update cadence (every 5 months vs every 18 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Shia Library holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mus'haf | المصحف للآيباد has 4.4K ratings behind it against 55, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 94% of Mus'haf | المصحف للآيباد's written reviews are positive against 90% of Shia Library's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Mus'haf | المصحف للآيباد ships an update every 18 months, Shia Library every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
