# Pocket Road Trip vs Golf Dunk

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Pocket Road Trip at 65% against Golf Dunk's 0%. Pocket Road Trip also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Golf Dunk's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.2) and update cadence (daily vs every 3 weeks). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pocket Road Trip sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Golf Dunk sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Golf Dunk holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pocket Road Trip has 104 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 65% of Pocket Road Trip's written reviews are positive against 0% of Golf Dunk's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Pocket Road Trip ships an update every 3 weeks, Golf Dunk daily. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
