# Insomnia Cookies vs Dunkin'

Insomnia Cookies and Dunkin' both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 73% of Insomnia Cookies's written reviews are positive against 44% of Dunkin''s. Insomnia Cookies also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks). Dunkin''s advantage is ratings volume (1.4M vs 63K) and chart position (#30 vs #92). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Insomnia Cookies against 4.8 for Dunkin'. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dunkin' has 1.4M ratings behind it against 63K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 73% of Insomnia Cookies's written reviews are positive against 44% of Dunkin''s.

Insomnia Cookies ships an update every 2 weeks, Dunkin' every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
