# دعاء العهد vs Read Scripture

The clearest difference is update cadence: Read Scripture at every 5 weeks against دعاء العهد's every 42 months. Read Scripture also leads on ratings volume (1.8K vs 66) and rating (4.8 vs 4.6). دعاء العهد's advantage is iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.1). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Read Scripture holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Read Scripture has 1.8K ratings behind it against 66, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 90% of دعاء العهد's written reviews are positive against 87% of Read Scripture's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

دعاء العهد ships an update every 42 months, Read Scripture every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
