# SquadUP vs Key Western Fest

The clearest difference is review sentiment: SquadUP at 87% against Key Western Fest's 33%. SquadUP also leads on update cadence (every 3 months vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (27 vs 4). Key Western Fest's advantage is rating (3.0 vs 2.7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Key Western Fest holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SquadUP has 27 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 87% of SquadUP's written reviews are positive against 33% of Key Western Fest's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SquadUP ships an update every 3 months, Key Western Fest every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
