# MP3 Audiobook Player vs Notion Press

The clearest difference is rating: Notion Press at 5.0 against MP3 Audiobook Player's 3.9. Notion Press also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). MP3 Audiobook Player's advantage is ratings volume (427 vs 4) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MP3 Audiobook Player sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Notion Press sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Notion Press holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MP3 Audiobook Player has 427 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 66% of MP3 Audiobook Player's written reviews are positive against 60% of Notion Press's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MP3 Audiobook Player ships an update weekly, Notion Press every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and September 10, 2026 respectively.
