# MP3 Audiobook Player vs BookPlayer

The clearest difference is rating: BookPlayer at 4.5 against MP3 Audiobook Player's 3.9. BookPlayer also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (12.1 vs 15.0). MP3 Audiobook Player's advantage is device support (4 vs 2). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MP3 Audiobook Player sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and BookPlayer sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BookPlayer holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 429 and 241 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 66% of MP3 Audiobook Player's written reviews are positive against 59% of BookPlayer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
