# Photo Rubber vs Photo Eraser

Photo Rubber and Photo Eraser both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 90% of Photo Rubber's written reviews are positive against 42% of Photo Eraser's. Photo Eraser's advantage is ratings volume (22K vs 8) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 5 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Photo Rubber sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Photo Eraser sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Photo Rubber holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Photo Eraser has 22K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 90% of Photo Rubber's written reviews are positive against 42% of Photo Eraser's.

Photo Rubber ships an update every 5 months, Photo Eraser every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
