# Myanmar eRadio+ vs CGTN

Myanmar eRadio+ and CGTN both sit at 4.2 stars, but that hides the real split: 85% of Myanmar eRadio+'s written reviews are positive against 54% of CGTN's. Myanmar eRadio+ also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). CGTN's advantage is ratings volume (394 vs 75) and device support (5 vs 3). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CGTN holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CGTN has 394 ratings behind it against 75, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 85% of Myanmar eRadio+'s written reviews are positive against 54% of CGTN's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Myanmar eRadio+ ships an update every 2 months, CGTN every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
