# Tacx Training™ vs Quin for ABUS

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Tacx Training™ at none against Quin for ABUS's 4. Tacx Training™ also leads on review sentiment (42% vs 8%) and ratings volume (16K vs 1). Quin for ABUS's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.0). On price, update cadence, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Quin for ABUS sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Tacx Training™ asks for nothing beyond the download.

Quin for ABUS holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tacx Training™ has 16K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 42% of Tacx Training™'s written reviews are positive against 8% of Quin for ABUS's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Tacx Training™ ships an update every 3 weeks, Quin for ABUS every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
