# Type & Speak vs TeleView

The clearest difference is price: TeleView at Free against Type & Speak's $2.99. TeleView also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.4) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Type & Speak's advantage is review sentiment (42% vs 0%) and in-app purchases (none vs 3). On update cadence, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

TeleView is free to download; Type & Speak costs $2.99 up front. TeleView sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Type & Speak asks for nothing beyond the download.

TeleView holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Type & Speak has 866 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 42% of Type & Speak's written reviews are positive against 0% of TeleView's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
