# 18Birdies vs Linedancer

The clearest difference is rating: 18Birdies at 4.9 against Linedancer's 4.0. 18Birdies also leads on ratings volume (306K vs 3) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). Linedancer's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 14) and review sentiment (100% vs 74%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 18Birdies sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Linedancer asks for nothing beyond the download.

18Birdies holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 18Birdies has 306K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 74% of 18Birdies's written reviews are positive against 100% of Linedancer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

18Birdies ships an update weekly, Linedancer monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
