# 18Birdies vs Inrange

The clearest difference is rating: 18Birdies at 4.9 against Inrange's 3.6. 18Birdies also leads on ratings volume (306K vs 23) and update cadence (every 6 days vs every 3 weeks). Inrange's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 14) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 18Birdies sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Inrange asks for nothing beyond the download.

18Birdies holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 18Birdies has 306K ratings behind it against 23, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 74% of 18Birdies's written reviews are positive against 79% of Inrange's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

18Birdies ships an update every 6 days, Inrange every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
