# 18Birdies vs ParPoints Golf

The clearest difference is update cadence: 18Birdies at every 6 days against ParPoints Golf's every 2 months. 18Birdies also leads on ratings volume (306K vs 48) and rating (4.9 vs 4.7). ParPoints Golf's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 74%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 18Birdies sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and ParPoints Golf sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

18Birdies holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 18Birdies has 306K ratings behind it against 48, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 74% of 18Birdies's written reviews are positive against 100% of ParPoints Golf's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

18Birdies ships an update every 6 days, ParPoints Golf every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
