# 18Birdies vs Flowstate

The clearest difference is rating: 18Birdies at 4.9 against Flowstate's 2.7. 18Birdies also leads on ratings volume (306K vs 3) and update cadence (every 6 days vs fortnightly). Flowstate's advantage is review sentiment (83% vs 74%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 18Birdies sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Flowstate sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

18Birdies holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 18Birdies has 306K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 74% of 18Birdies's written reviews are positive against 83% of Flowstate's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

18Birdies ships an update every 6 days, Flowstate fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
