# 18Birdies vs Better18 Golf

The clearest difference is ratings volume: 18Birdies at 306K against Better18 Golf's 1. 18Birdies also leads on chart position (#5 vs unranked). Better18 Golf's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs weekly). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 18Birdies sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Better18 Golf sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for 18Birdies against 5.0 for Better18 Golf. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 18Birdies has 306K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
