# ALM Connect vs RevivalTV

The clearest difference is update cadence: RevivalTV at every 3 months against ALM Connect's every 25 months. RevivalTV also leads on ratings volume (163 vs 4). ALM Connect's advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for ALM Connect against 4.9 for RevivalTV. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RevivalTV has 163 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ALM Connect ships an update every 25 months, RevivalTV every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
