# Splat vs Cursive Letters Writing Wizard

The clearest difference is rating: Cursive Letters Writing Wizard at 4.4 against Splat's 3.0. Cursive Letters Writing Wizard also leads on ratings volume (2K vs 2) and update cadence (every 5 months vs every 15 months). Splat's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 62%) and in-app purchases (none vs 4). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cursive Letters Writing Wizard sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month. Splat asks for nothing beyond the download.

Cursive Letters Writing Wizard holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cursive Letters Writing Wizard has 2K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Splat's written reviews are positive against 62% of Cursive Letters Writing Wizard's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Splat ships an update every 15 months, Cursive Letters Writing Wizard every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
