# The Document Converter vs Tiff Viewer

The clearest difference is ratings volume: The Document Converter at 5.9K against Tiff Viewer's 188. Tiff Viewer's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.6). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Document Converter sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Tiff Viewer sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for The Document Converter against 4.6 for Tiff Viewer. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Document Converter has 5.9K ratings behind it against 188, so its average is the more settled of the two.
