# The Document Converter vs AllConvert

The clearest difference is review sentiment: AllConvert at 75% against The Document Converter's 36%. AllConvert also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 5 months). The Document Converter's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (5.9K vs 15). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Document Converter sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and AllConvert sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

The Document Converter holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Document Converter has 5.9K ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 36% of The Document Converter's written reviews are positive against 75% of AllConvert's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

The Document Converter ships an update every 5 months, AllConvert every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
