# The Document Converter vs Convert PPT to PDF

The clearest difference is rating: The Document Converter at 4.7 against Convert PPT to PDF's 1.0. The Document Converter also leads on ratings volume (6K vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.5). Convert PPT to PDF's advantage is monetization model (free vs freemium) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Document Converter sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Convert PPT to PDF sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
