# Poll Everywhere vs SEC Connect

The clearest difference is review sentiment: SEC Connect at 100% against Poll Everywhere's 30%. SEC Connect also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Poll Everywhere's advantage is ratings volume (3K vs 6) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 6 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Poll Everywhere sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. SEC Connect asks for nothing beyond the download.

SEC Connect holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Poll Everywhere has 3K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 30% of Poll Everywhere's written reviews are positive against 100% of SEC Connect's.

Poll Everywhere ships an update every 2 months, SEC Connect every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
