# Poll Everywhere vs SmartSite Plus

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: SmartSite Plus at none against Poll Everywhere's 1. SmartSite Plus also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.1). Poll Everywhere's advantage is ratings volume (3K vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Poll Everywhere sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. SmartSite Plus asks for nothing beyond the download.

SmartSite Plus holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Poll Everywhere has 3K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
