# B vs Hive Logger

The clearest difference is rating: Hive Logger at 4.7 against B's 4.0. Hive Logger also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (24 vs 4). B's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.6). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hive Logger sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.49 per month. B asks for nothing beyond the download.

Hive Logger holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hive Logger has 24 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.
