# Chubbies Shorts vs Fresh Clean Tees

The clearest difference is monetization model: Fresh Clean Tees at ad-supported against Chubbies Shorts's free with in-app purchases. Chubbies Shorts's advantage is ratings volume (6.3K vs 950). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Chubbies Shorts against 4.9 for Fresh Clean Tees. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Chubbies Shorts has 6.3K ratings behind it against 950, so its average is the more settled of the two.
