# VaxPhone vs SilverDialer

The clearest difference is rating: VaxPhone at 5.0 against SilverDialer's 3.4. VaxPhone also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). SilverDialer's advantage is review sentiment (25% vs 0%) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 8 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

VaxPhone holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SilverDialer has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of VaxPhone's written reviews are positive against 25% of SilverDialer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

VaxPhone ships an update every 8 months, SilverDialer every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
