# GEN 365 vs ASP

The clearest difference is ads: ASP at none against GEN 365's shown. ASP also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 12.0). GEN 365's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 7 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GEN 365 ships an update monthly, ASP every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
