# Time Tracker vs MBT

The clearest difference is monetization model: MBT at free against Time Tracker's freemium. MBT also leads on iOS requirement (10.0 vs 26.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Time Tracker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and MBT sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
