# BusWhere School Bus Tracking vs FAMILIES | TalkingPoints

The clearest difference is ratings volume: FAMILIES | TalkingPoints at 92K against BusWhere School Bus Tracking's 2.6K. FAMILIES | TalkingPoints also leads on chart position (#116 vs unranked). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FAMILIES | TalkingPoints holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FAMILIES | TalkingPoints has 92K ratings behind it against 2.6K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 30% of BusWhere School Bus Tracking's written reviews are positive against 24% of FAMILIES | TalkingPoints's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
