# Sonic Racer vs Bird Gun

The clearest difference is rating: Bird Gun at 4.6 against Sonic Racer's 3.7. Bird Gun also leads on ratings volume (100 vs 19). Sonic Racer's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (77% vs 58%). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Bird Gun holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bird Gun has 100 ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 77% of Sonic Racer's written reviews are positive against 58% of Bird Gun's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sonic Racer ships an update every 5 days, Bird Gun every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
