# Jumpy Witch vs The Grid Platformer

The clearest difference is ads: Jumpy Witch at none against The Grid Platformer's shown. Jumpy Witch also leads on update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 9 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). The Grid Platformer's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 87%) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Jumpy Witch sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and The Grid Platformer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Jumpy Witch holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Grid Platformer has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 87% of Jumpy Witch's written reviews are positive against 100% of The Grid Platformer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Jumpy Witch ships an update every 6 weeks, The Grid Platformer every 9 months. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
