# Visionar AR vs Random

The clearest difference is update cadence: Random at every 3 days against Visionar AR's every 3 months. Visionar AR's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 14.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Visionar AR ships an update every 3 months, Random every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
