# Crazy Makeover vs Hair Makeover

The clearest difference is rating: Crazy Makeover at 4.1 against Hair Makeover's 3.2. Crazy Makeover also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (7.0 vs 15.6). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Crazy Makeover sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Hair Makeover sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Crazy Makeover holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 35 and 18 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 62% of Crazy Makeover's written reviews are positive against 65% of Hair Makeover's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Crazy Makeover ships an update every 3 months, Hair Makeover every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
