# RED Tools vs SPC

The clearest difference is rating: SPC at 5.0 against RED Tools's 3.3. SPC also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). RED Tools's advantage is ratings volume (15 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SPC holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RED Tools has 15 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
