# Yokara vs SBTN go

The clearest difference is monetization model: Yokara at free with in-app purchases against SBTN go's subscription. Yokara also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (1.6K vs 113). SBTN go's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Yokara sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per 7 days and SBTN go sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Yokara holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Yokara has 1.6K ratings behind it against 113, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 84% and 85% positive.

Yokara ships an update every 2 weeks, SBTN go every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
