# Mysterious Cottage vs Find Master

The clearest difference is rating: Find Master at 4.9 against Mysterious Cottage's 4.0. Find Master also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (3.4K vs 1). Mysterious Cottage's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (100% vs 70%). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Find Master holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Find Master has 3.4K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Mysterious Cottage's written reviews are positive against 70% of Find Master's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Mysterious Cottage ships an update every 3 months, Find Master fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
