# FlashInvaders vs 5àsec

The clearest difference is ads: FlashInvaders at none against 5àsec's shown. 5àsec's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 11 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FlashInvaders ships an update every 11 months, 5àsec monthly. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
