# FlashInvaders vs ActiveJoy

The clearest difference is update cadence: ActiveJoy at every 3 weeks against FlashInvaders's every 11 months. FlashInvaders's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FlashInvaders ships an update every 11 months, ActiveJoy every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and September 20, 2026 respectively.
